Testing is one of the most important factors when you dealing with affiliate & advertising websites.
By testing I mean:
*Changing my websites themes.
*Changing the ad sizes & colors.
*Changing the ad places.
*Trying different kind of content style.
*Changing the picture in your site.
*Changing the email list ad content.
*Trying different affiliate programs or advertising networks.
There are a lot more and you can always test new tools and plugins.
I know it’s hard and not sexy when dealing with testing but this is one of the most important things you can do for your business and if done properly, you will be very surprised with the results you will get.

Yes, testing is important. Also important is following a strict testing methodology so you can be certain of the results (meaning, don’t change two page elements at once). To test effectively, you really need an ample flow of traffic to your site. If you don’t normally get that, it’s probably worth buying traffic if only for the test period.
